Tasha Endsley

Tasha is a native Oak Ridger and a former graphic designer, having earned her BFA from UT in 1988. She took her first painting class, however, just before the 2020 shutdown began, and spent many hours joyfully exploring and experimenting with different mediums. Still learning and honing her technique and her style, she mostly prefers to work in oil and cold wax, or acrylic/mixed media on wood panels. Mark-making, adding and subtracting layers of color, and listening to what the painting wants to be, are her favorite techniques for adding interest, movement, mood, texture and history to her mostly abstract work.
