John Allen

John Allen is an artist working in Drawing, Photography, and other media. He has exhibited nationally and internationally, including at the Corcoran Gallery and at the Czong Institute of Contemporary Art in Korea. An fellow at the Hambidge Center residency, John has taught drawing and photography at local colleges including Maryville College and Pellissippi State Community College. He has been active in community art organizations including The Big Camera and A1LabArts. Currently John works at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, and in his free time enjoys trail running and his Siamese cat named Beans.
