Jamie Kowarick is the maker behind Fado Made — fully customizable accessories handcrafted right here in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Fado Made is all about handcrafted custom accessories, vintage styles, and quality construction. Most of the handbags Jamie makes are a homage to the box bag purse that was first introduced in the 1930’s and gained more popularly into the 60’s. The box bag style is very structured, sleek, and sophisticated yet bold. Jamie loves to pair the retro style with more modern shapes, patterns, and design elements; such as pockets that will fit your phone. All custom bags and best sellers have been named after the people who inspired or commissioned them.

Fado Made has been in the making since Jamie was in high school. Her business has evolved a few times, starting as Fado Creations, where she solely made knit hats and scarves that were sold to friends, family, and through Etsy. Fado Made, as it is today, happened over the summer of 2020 when Jamie felt an overwhelming urge to get the business up and running again, but this time with a focus on custom orders, updated styles, new leathers, and even more attention to detail.
