Deb Shmerler

Deb is Professor Emerita at The University of Tennessee. She taught full-time at UT in Knoxville from 2002 to 2019 where she was an Associate Professor of Graphic Design. With a growing enthusiasm in Collage and Painting over the past several years, she has led workshops for the Tennessee Art Education Association Regional Conference and exhibited work in a National Juried Exhibition at Arrowmont, “Unassigned” exhibition at Colby Sawyer College, New Hampshire, and “Visual Travelogues”, a 2-person exhibit at TVUC, Knoxville. Deb continues to teach part-time and take on meaningful design projects.
