About the Artist:
Anna Grocholski grew up hiking the trails and coastline of Northern California. She earned her BA from California State University, Chico in 2015 which started her down a path towards a life in clay. She has worked many different jobs and with a shift in perspective from time spent teaching art classes, has recently gone on to explore her studio practice more deeply. She is currently a studio potter living in East Tennessee.
Anna has exhibited and sold her work from California to Tennessee and finds connection with others through art to be a space that brings people together, fostering camaraderie and friendships that transcend any differences.
When not working in the studio, Anna finds inspiration hiking among the trees, slowly observing nature with her partner, Tyler Grocholski, as well as sewing drapery and exploring the possibilities of fabric while getting lost in pattern. They share a home with their cat surrounded by hills and animals along Hinds Creek.
