Amanda Scott

Amanda is a plein air and studio artist in Knoxville Tennessee. She paints in oils on linen panels. Amanda was born with the challenge of being deaf in one ear. This created a heightened sense of vision and the gift of really studying facial expressions her whole life. It was unexpected when, as an adult, Amanda lost vision in one eye as well. Amanda practices seeing deeply daily and creates representational but artistic paintings from her unique perspective.
